Toldo - 7.5: May be 37 now, but is still a pretty decent backup goalkeeper. Made two excellent saves from Brighi and Pizarro.
Maicon - 6.0: Was poor at the weekend, and was a little under-par tonight also, although he put Ibrahimovic clean through in the first half.
Samuel - 6.5: A calming influence at the back, and it was his header that led to the winner, even if he was in an offside position.
Burdisso - 6.0: Had a shocker at the weekend, but he was relatively sound tonight, even if he still displayed a few positional weaknesses.
Santon - 7.0: Very encouraging debut from the 18-year-old Primavera player. Showed good pace and personality down the left hand side.
Zanetti - 6.5: Consistent performance from Zanetti who, as usual, gave his all and never stopped running until the final minute.
Cambiasso - 6.0: Played in second gear tonight, but still made a number of key interceptions in and around the penalty area.
Muntari - 5.0: Despite not playing at the weekend, Muntari looked extremely tired. Did not have his usual energy, and he was often second to the fifty-fifty balls.
Stankovic - 7.5: The best player on the pitch in the first half, and he almost scored a brilliant volley that crashed off the crossbar. Slowed down after the interval.
Adriano - 7.0: Confirmed the positive signs he showed in the second half at Atalanta with the opener tonight. Worked hard before he was replaced, but still needs to lose a few pounds.
Ibrahimovic - 7.0: Still struggles to score the easy chances, missing a gilt-edged one-on-one, but ultimately decided the tie with a rebound winner.
