According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter and Real Madrid are close to reaching an agreement for Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder (25).
Latest reports suggest that Sneijder will join Inter on a paid loan deal for about 7 million euros with the chance for the Neroazzurri to sign him on a permament basis for 13 millions next year.
The Dutchman is keen on joining a club where he will have the chance to play more often. He fears that limited chances at Real would prevent him from keeping his place in the Dutch national team (as already stated by Holland head coach Bert Van Marwijk) and thus miss the 2010 World Cup.
In the meantime, Real Madrid chairman Florentino Perez has told Spanish media sources that Sneijder could join Inter by August 15. However, if the deal will fall through at the last minute, the alternatives for Inter are Rafael Van der Vaart (Real Madrid), Pablo Aimar (Benfica) and Ivan Rakitic (Schalke 04).

米兰体育报消息：国际米兰已经与皇家马德里就斯内德的转会谈判取得突破性进展。
斯内德以租借的身份加盟国际米兰（租借费700W欧元），第二年国米可以1300W欧元买断其的所有权。
斯内德选择加盟国际米兰是为了得到更多的出场机会。皇家马德里的轮换球员是很难在荷兰国家队获得主力位置的，甚至可能被踢出2010世界杯的荷兰国家队参赛名单。（荷兰国家队主教练范马尔维克建议他转会。）
与此同时，皇家马德里的主席佩雷斯已经向西班牙媒体透露，国际米兰将在8月15日签下斯内德。
当然，这宗交易如果最终失败，国际米兰将会转向其他目标：范德法特、艾马尔、拉基蒂奇。
