16日希腊超级联赛球队帕尼奥尼奥斯(Panionios)俱乐部宣布与雷科巴达成分手协议。33岁的雷科巴曾在国际米兰度过了11个赛季，辉煌过也落寞过。2007年夏天，雷科巴离开国际米兰转投都灵，但一个赛季下来，“中国男孩”的表现依旧无法令人满意，只能在08年夏天远走希腊，加盟帕尼奥尼奥斯。上赛季，雷科巴代表新东家出战14场希腊联赛，攻入4球并送上6记助攻，表现不错。
据意大利媒体报道，雷科巴昨天出现在了米兰城，并且去拜访了国米主席莫拉蒂。“这只是一次礼节性的拜访，我一直都想感谢莫拉蒂先生，他在我的心中有着特殊的地位。”雷科巴在接受采访时说道。
当被问及是否希望重回意甲时，雷科巴的回答令人浮想联翩：“我感觉自己目前的状态非常好，在我的位置上，我不比任何人差，我会在球场上用行动证明给质疑我的人看。我相信自己还有2年的职业寿命，我还在思考我的未来，我确实收到了很多的邀请，我会慎重做出决定。”
雷科巴同样表达了希望代表乌拉圭征战世界杯的愿望。“我不认为自己已经被排除在外。在我的位置上我不逊色于任何人，但经历过如此波折之后我需要在赛场上证明这一点。
据《米兰体育报》报道，前国际米兰球星雷科巴可能重回意甲赛场，亚特兰大俱乐部正对他发出邀请。

Recoba ready to return to Italy
FormerInterhero Alvaro Recoba has mutually terminated his contract withGreek sidePanionios and is sounding out the Italian market.
                                                                                                                        
The33-year-old Uruguayan who spent 11 years with the Nerazzurri wasinMilan yesterday and went to see Massimo Moratti for advice.
                                                                                                                        
“Itwas a scheduled meeting, the pleasure of once again seeing a manwhowill always have a special place in my heart,” Recoba said.
                                                                                                                        
Askedabout his future, he replied: “I will decide soon. I am notleavingPanionios because I have had too many injures. Physically Ifeel goodand I have already had several offers.
                                                                                                                        
“Wewill evaluate them with care because I have at least another twoyearsat a high level in my legs and I don't want to make a mistake.”
   Recoba even announced hisintention to make a run at Uruguay's World Cup squad.
                                                                                                                        
“Idon't feel myself out of the running. I am inferior to no one inmyposition, but after many problems I am obliged to show it onthepitch,” he concluded.
                                                                                                                        
Accordingto La Gazzetta dello Sport, Recoba would prefer a move toAtalanta,although it remains to be seen whether a disciplinarian likeAntonioConte would accept him in his team.
