During the Fascist era, the club is forced to merge with the Milanese Unione Sportiva and the team wins its third Scudetto under the name of Ambrosiana Inter.
At the end of the season, the club changed its name to AS Ambrosiana and finished fifth in 1931 and seventh in 1932. In both seasons, they failed to score enough goals to compensate for their over-generous defence. Ambrosiana changed their name again in 1932 to AS Ambrosiana "Inter" Milano and in the 1933 season the goals flowed once again as they scored eighty goals from thirty-four matches.
In 1928 Inter incorporated with the Milanese Unione Sportive and changed its name and uniform. Inter was forced to do this because its philosophy "open for all" did had the support of the fascism government. The clubs new name was Ambrosianaand the new tricot was white with a red cross.
Under this name Inter won its third Scudetto in 1930. In the following season Oreste Simonotti may call himself the 12th President of the Club
In 1932, December the 2nd Inter was allowed to change its name into the combined name Ambrosiana-Inter. This was due to the supporters who continued to be real nerazzurri (black and blue) since the entire Arena resounded with a sole chorus: "Forza Inter".
