当我们排出一个边锋（Either side wing）、一个中锋（Centre forward）、一个第二前锋（Second striker）的布局，一下子变成简单了。对，就是这样。边锋可左可右，第二前锋与其方向相反，这样可以最大限度地利用边锋传中的进攻机会。3个Box-to-Box中场，保持稳定的攻守平衡和面对不同层次的对手时足够的攻守力量；不再为找不到马克莱莱这样的完美DMC而伤脑筋。与简单完美的4-1-3-2比较，防守时我们有3个中场，进攻时也有3个中场，但前场多了1个边锋。不再有什么“前腰”、“后腰”，3名中场、1名边锋、2名前锋、4名后卫都是紧密联系的。队形移动速度更快，进攻的机会更多，防守更稳固。从目前我能想到的因素，“带1个边锋的非对称4-3-3”堪称基本完美。
