After a good start under Jose Mourinho's leadership at Inter, unruly Brazilian forward Adriano is now excluded from the squad after showing up late for training a few days ago. Adriano has not completely stopped his late night partying habits even after Mourinho's advice. It is clear that the Brazilian is out of second chances at Inter now and it is widely expected that he will transfer to another squad either in January or in June. According to the Corriere dello Sport newspaper, a January departure is more likely.
Inter president Massimo Moratti has brushed aside speculation linking Brazilian striker Adriano with a move away from the San Siro in January.
Italian media reports claimed the 26-year-old had asked to be made available in the winter transfer window following a fall-out with coach Jose Mourinho.
However, when asked if Adriano had asked the club to be loaned out in January, Moratti told the club's official website: "No, I do not believe that is the case."
The South American, who played on a six-month loan deal at Sao Paulo before returning to the Nerazzurri this summer, is out of favour with Mourinho.
The Portuguese manager left the striker out of the squad for Wednesday's game at Fiorentina as punishment for a late night out.
"All I know is, like other players, he went out that night (Sunday)," Moratti said.作者: luiswoo 时间: 2008-10-31 22:14:36
