Inter President Massimo Moratti says that negotiations with coach Jose Mourinho to ratify his exit from the Italian club have yet to begin in earnest.
Mourinho looks bound for Real Madrid, provided that the Spanish giants will pay around 16million in compensation to Inter, but Moratti insists the D-day is still far away.
“No, Wednesday won’t be the decisive day,” he told Sky Sport 24.
“We have not even begun negotiations yet.”
There are reports that the persistent rumours on Mourinho’s exit have led Moratti to lose his cool in recent days and he allegedly said he was ‘fed up with being made a fool of’.
“I never said that,” claimed the oil magnate.
“Yes, I may have been annoyed, but I got over it thanks to Mourinho’s focus.
“However, it is now a hassle for us, because we must find a new boss.
“But most certainly I won’t be telling you his name…”
