Inter Milan goalkeeper Júlio César will be fit for Brazil’s opening World Cup fixture says manager Dunga.
César, widely considered one of the world’s finest stoppers, picked up a lumbar strain in Brazil’s win over Zimbabwe in Harare last Wednesday.
But Dunga insists the 30-year-old will be ready in time to face North Korea in Johannesburg on Tuesday.
“Júlio César will recover for our first game,” he said.
“He is undergoing treatment and he is expected to train with the team this week.”
