Franco-Algerian hitman arrives from Parma, putting pen to paper on a five-year deal
MILAN - Ishak Belfodil is now an Inter player. The Algerian striker with French citizenship has inked a five-year deal which will keep him at the club until 2018.
Born in Mostaganem in Algeria on 12 January 1992, Belfodil joins Inter after previous experiences with Lyon (2009 to 2011), Bologna (from January 2012) and Parma (2012/13 season, scoring 8 goals in 34 appearances).
Immediately after signing his contract, the forward made a few brief statements to waiting journalists: "Inter are a great team. I'm absolutely delighted and I hope to be very successful here. Hello to all the Nerazzurri fans!"
