Nicknamed “Spiderman”, Walter Zenga was born in Milan on April 28,1960. His soccer career as goalkeeper begins early at the age of ten, gaining experience in lower divisions of the Italian championship (Macallese, Salernitana, Savona, Sanbenedettese) until his “promotion” in Inter team. Full of enthusiasm but also self-abasement he cherishes his black-blue dream as 2nd goalkeeper behind his idol Ivano Bordon.
During the season 1982-83 he makes his debut against Sampdoria, that will allow him to go to National Italian team three years after, with lots of satisfactions. With Inter he wins the first place in championship in 1988-‘89, the Supercoppa and UEFA Cup in ‘90 (vs Roma) and ‘94 (vs Salisburgo).

# Y! h! e; F9 E. RIn 1994, Zenga transfers to Sampdoria, and then to Padova two years later. From there, it is to Major League Soccer and the New England Revolution, where he is goalkeeper in '97 and coach the year after.
