<P><B>Welcome to a new season of FreeKick!</B>
Every season we develop new features and improve existing ones. Last season we added injuries, fouls, suspensions, free kicks and penalties. During the season we have improved them and learned how to improve them further. We also made most of the personality traits active in affecting the game and we have continued to upgrade servers to meet the raising interest for the game.

For this season we have altered injuries and suspensions. For the enjoyment of the tactical experience of FreeKick we have decided to remove the risk of being sent off during the matches, although a player that have collected two yellow cards will be suspended for one match. Players that get injured will no longer risk being carried of the pitch, but they won't be able to participate in other matches for a full week. These changes are done to make ensure that managerial decisions about conditional orders and other tactical options will be potent during matches.

We have also removed the match readiness feature that made life difficult for the clubs that were participating in the cup. With injuries and suspensions we feel that this feature is no longer needed to provide challenge for those successful in both league and cup. We feel that this is a decision in the spirit in removing unnecessary obstacles between the manager and the important tactical and strategically decisions.

During this season we will add further features and improve old ones. The following features are an estimation of what we will have time for. We will improve the handling of fouls to make them more intuitive than now. We will add the long awaited Friendly Cup feature that is currently under testing. Hopefully the new site design will be available during the course of the season. Along with changes in design we will also start to add ways to view and sort players to make the game easier to handle for newcomers. New performance ratings should be available during the season as well as an improved salary negotiation for the players.

We have a long list of features that we want to implement and you will find a few of them at the Decision and Intention sections in forum. A few of them is local time, live matches and the loyalty feature. In what order and when they will appear is hard to say, but we will give an estimation when we know more.
