22-02-1981  Giuseppe Bergomi replaces an injured Gabriele Oriali to make his debut for Inter in a 2-1 home victory over Como. It is the first of Bergomi's 758 games in a Nerazzurri shirt. Piero Volpi (Inter doctor from 1995 to 2000) is in the Como lineup.  
22-02-2001  Inter lose 2-0 at home to Spanish side Alaves and are out of the UEFA Cup. Violent protests by Nerazzurri fans leads UEFA to ban Inter from playing their next two European home matches at the San Siro.
