Mourinho: "Working calmly without pressure"

MILAN - José Mourinho spent the morning at the club's Palazzo Durini headquarters. He spoke briefly to Sky Sport after having lunch with Marco Branca, Gabriele Oriali and his staff.

This is what the Inter coach had to say:

Mourinho, how are you?
"Very well. I say a big hello to all the Inter fans, but also to every football fan."

How is your work proceeding in these first few weeks as Inter coach?
"Fine. I much prefer the work on the pitch to the work in the office, but I have to do it and I have lots of enthusiasm. I can't wait until mid-July, but I have work to do before then."

Have you already defined a transfer market strategy?
"The team is good and we have to do things calmly and without pressure. I have faith in this squad and I have faith in my work. We don't want to be 'summer champions'."

How did your trip to Brazil go, and how was your meeting with Adriano?
"Very well. It's winter in Brazil now, but it's a winter with 20 degrees so it's very good for football. Watching Brazil-Argentina was interesting. It's a match that always offers something different, but this week's work is just as important for me. I will prepare everything here in Milan and then return later to start working with the team on the pitch."

Moratti: "Just a few targeted signings"

ROME - Massimo Moratti spoke about Inter's summer transfer strategy on the sidelines of a meeting of Inter Club Parlamento members in Rome.

"The names of the players linked to Inter in the newspapers are all of such a high level that it is obvious that they could interest us, but we have no need to spend uselessly," said the Inter number one. "We will just make a few targeted signings."

Moratti named no names, explaining that "our targets are an attacking midfielder and one or two attacking wingers. Mourinho is not a demanding coach. He's not crazy. He's not interested in making useless interventions, but just a few targeted changes. I think he is very close to the team and he will certainly participate in the final decision about which new players will be part of the Inter project."

As for the Nerazzurri's objectives in 2008/09, Moratti said: "We will try to confirm ourselves in Italy and we will obviously be looking to do well in the European Cup. The final will be played in Rome, so it would be nice to play against the Giallorossi."

目前来看：
马尼切租借到期，基本肯定要回马德里竞技。
达科特合同到期，明年将34岁，不太可能续约。吉梅内斯顶他的前腰替补位置，去年吉梅内斯签的是一年租借合同，后面有3年所有权合同的选择权，现在应该签了。
斯坦科维奇的走人传闻很多。兰帕德过来顶上前腰主力位置。
苏亚佐可能成为跟罗马买小曼奇尼的筹码。
小贝利可能以租借形式到波尔图抵扣一部分夸雷斯马。穆导喜欢单后腰，现在已有坎比、维埃两个竞争，还有萨队、布迪、齐沃、索拉也可替补。小贝利在国际的合同是到2012年，现在租出去1至2年是个较好的选择。
其他合同到期的克雷斯波（租借）、大塞萨尔、索拉里都可能短期续签。菲戈已续签一年。
总的，走5人，进3人，还有阿德回归，下赛季队员人数将为：
27-5+3+1=26人
